We manage your hardware / software work packages in terms of functional safety. In order to ensure, that the whole functional safety process is covered, our experts are working diligently on the following steps:
Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment
We independently create and edit your G&R analysis as well as the necessary concepts from planning and preparation documentation. Safety goals and safety requirements are identified and the ASIL-per function is determined.
Functional Safety Concept
Based on safety requirements and safety goals, our experts will develop the functional safety concept for your project.
Technical Safety Concept
The next step is the technical implementation of the safety requirements. This is done in cooperation with the responsible safety management for the effect chains as well as with the function developers and the hardware / software developers.
During the implementation of the technical safety concept, we ensure that the requirements are implemented according to ISO 26262.
Functional Safety Analysis
At the component level, we generate a Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) as well as a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
This is followed by the FMEDA process (Failure Mode, Effects and Diagnostic Analysis), which we can autonomously perform from planning, preparation, data acquisition and analysis methodology to final documentation.
Validation Concept & Test Plan
After the successful completion of the development process, we also manage the functional safety of your products on the system level. We create the validation plan and a tailored test concept.
We support and consult the testers in both the preparation as well as the definition of the test specifications.
